The Cycle, as theorized by Solonor, is a repeating process of universal creation and destruction, driven by a hidden force bound to the natural rhythm of existence. This Cycle suggests that all realms, planes, and dimensions are engaged in a pattern of expansion, collapse, and rebirth—a phenomenon believed to be both inescapable and infinite. It is possible that an agent tied to the World Tree (of note Cassius’s weapon is known to have been pulled from the World Tree by The Traveler) might be responsible for this process, acting as the “Creator” who fuels the birth of worlds. However, this agent is intrinsically paired with a “Destroyer,” whose role is to dismantle reality at the Cycle’s culmination, returning everything to a singular point before starting again.
This process can be visualized as an expansive map of the planes, spreading outward, then contracting back to a core until it reaches a singularity—a “reset” point that marks the end of one Cycle and the beginning of another.
Speculation that there is a way to break free of this cosmic cycle through Mechanus somehow.
