Impression

Sal Brentwood is an older man with no place on a battlefield. Age and frailty alone might make him ill-fitted for combat, but more than that, his habits make him profoundly unsafe to stand beside. He is volatile in the literal sense, carrying alchemical components and devices on his person without warning. I have never encountered an individual quite like him, and I cannot imagine the calamity of an army composed of his likeness.

Known Record

During our commencement hearing, it was revealed that his niece, Lessa Brentwood, was listed as a dissident and reallocated. With what we now know of The Oracle’s consumption of minds, one can presume the worst.

Sal has taken it upon himself to support Lessa’s two children. Tomas was enrolled in the juvenile military academy in Conscriptus, while Lilian was sent to an orphanage. Sal diverts what money he can to their care.

Back home, he operated a business, Sal’s Salves, which he insists was the finest alchemical storefront in existence. In truth, his storefront was unsanctioned and unlicensed, thus illegal. He nevertheless seems proud of it, and speaks of it often.
