Impression
Faith is built into the very walls of The Santiforge. It permeates every breath, every footstep, every interaction. Belief in the Founder is palpable, present in word, symbol, and deed. The poorest here scrub stone with reverence. The rich give everything they have. It is not performative. It is expected.
Each district is overseen by a Bishop. Some are scholars, some preachers, others administrators. Their authority is spiritual and bureaucratic in equal measure.
Every day, at precisely the same hour, the choir sings. No matter where you are in the city, you hear it.
The Prophet of this city, The Forgefather, is said to walk among the people, unannounced, undistinguished. He could be the man sweeping the street, or the woman serving bread, or the child offering a prayer. No one knows, and that is the point. It creates a kind of enforced humility, genuine, but weighty. There is no room for cruelty or indifference when any act of disrespect could be blasphemy incarnate.
The Oracle resides deep within the Sanctiforge beneath the Temple of Aqua Vitae, entangled in both machinery and myth.

The Sanctiforge represents the apex of religious indoctrination under the FETC regime. Internal surveillance is informally maintained through cultural reverence, rendering conventional policing almost unnecessary. Recommend monitoring religious figures for divergence in doctrine, particularly in high-output labor districts.
